SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR Singer COREY TAYLOR To Release 'You're Making Me Hate You' Book In June

Da Capo Press, a member of the Perseus Books Group, has set a June 30, 2015 release date for "You're Making Me Hate You: An Uncommon Guide To Common Sense", the new book from SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor.

During a recent appearance on the Nerdist podcast, Taylor stated about "You're Making Me Hate You": "It's fucking brutal. It's just me basically trashing everyone. I submitted subtitle for it — 'cause they make me put subtitles on 'em — and they're, like, 'You're gonna get sued for that.' And I'm, like, 'Well, that's the one I want.' And they're, like, 'No. This time we're putting our foot down. You can't use that one.' It was basically, like… I can't even say it. They're gonna get so mad at me. It was 'You're Making Me Hate You (Or How Justin Bieber Sucked A Million Dicks To Make His Money)'. And they wouldn't let me fucking use it. With an asterisk, obviously. And then at the bottom, 'Obviously, I don't know if it's true, but this is what I believe.' And they wouldn't let me do it. Anyway… I'll leave it in. Fuck it. I don't give a shit."

Taylor's last book, "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Heaven", in July 2013 landed at No. 23 on the New York Times "Hardcover Non-fiction" best sellers list, three positions higher than his first memoir, 2011's "Seven Deadly Sins".

Taylor told The Pulse Of Radio last year that his next book may be a collection of columns he's written over the past 12 years for U.K. magazine Rock Sound, while his fourth book may be his first attempt at a novel.
